Innovative Formulation Design

Instead of manufacturing generic biostimulants that anyone can produce, we mine our proprietary biological assets from our in-house strain library, dedicated seaweedbiobank and extract/compound library to create products with unique modes of action, documented efficacy, and defensible IP.

Plant modulation Platform |

Designed to influence gene regulation, hormonal signaling, such as drought survival in plant, and pest and disease control.

At CBIIO, our unique internal validation process and in-house tech-stack is designed on epigenetic reprogramming; the process of modifying an organism's phenotype without altering its underlying genetic code (Non-GMO).

This involves the role of sugar-based molecules (glycans/glycoproteins) and other diverse bioactive metabolites derived from Seaweed, as "biological software" formulated to target genetic and regulatory/metabolic networks that plants use to respond to developmental cues and environmental stress.

PAT (Process Analytical Technology) – Inline Raman or NIR for real-time polysaccharide monitoring; automated feedback loops for pH, Dissolved Oxygen (DO), and Oxygen Uptake Rate (OUR) are critical for controlling microbial metabolism, enhancing product yields, and ensuring consistency in high-density fermentation. These systems use real-time data from in situ sensors to automatically adjust actuators—such as pumps, gas flow controllers, and agitators—without human intervention, maintaining optimal conditions for cell growth and production.

Dedicated low-endotoxin water loop – WFI-grade or ultrapure water with continuous monitoring; critical for achieving < 5 EU/mL.

Strain fingerprinting | Whole-genome sequencing, MALDI-TOF Unique identity; biosynthetic gene clusters.
Providing a robust, high-resolution method for establishing the unique identity of microbial strains, crucial for the discovery and design of novel biostimulants and functional validation.

Stability testing | Accelerated shelf-life, formulation compatibility.

Ensuring products maintain efficacy during storage and use. Two key components are:  Accelerated Shelf-Life Testing, and   Formulation Compatibility Testing.

Established batch record and deviation system – Electronic batch records (EBR) with automated data capture from bioreactors and analytics ensure traceability and consistency.

Regulators currently benchmark our products under EBIC requirements, and emerging guidance for RNA-based biopesticides, which are moving through frameworks similar to microbial or pheromone-based formulations

Our operations are guided by scientific rigor, traceability, and a relentless focus on outcomes. Every batch of biostimulant is fully traceable from sourcing to shipment and is accompanied by Certificates of Analysis, Technical Data Sheets, and Safety Data Sheets. Regulatory and safety declarations provide transparency on composition, allergens, GMO status, and environmental considerations.
